When exposed to the sun, our skin releases melanin. Melanin is a pigment that darkens our skin. Sun rays can lead to premature aging and wrinkles. Sometimes it also causes skin cancer. Everyone has a different melanin response to the sun. We can burn and tan at the same time. Tan is a sign of skin damage. It is a response to sun damage to our skin. Any amount of sun exposure is damaging. Melanin doesn’t protect us completely. Staying in the sun longer and more frequently – leading to more damage. Up to 80% of the sun’s UV rays can pass through clouds. So, we have to use caution regarding sun exposure on cloudy days as sunny days. Using Sunscreen lotion gives more benefits than while not using the lotion.
So, here are the health remedies for removing tanning:
There are many ways to remove tan. So, going to tell you some of them:
Turmeric & Bengal gram flour:
If we want to remove the tan then we can flake the dead cells from our skin using this face pack. Two tablespoons of Bengal gram flour, a tablespoon of rose water, some milk, and a pinch of turmeric, and mix it properly. After that, the pack is applied to the skin and leaving it for 25 minutes to 30 minutes and then wash the face with cold water. Regular use will fade the tan from the skin.



Tomato juice & Yogurt:

Try to use raw tomato. Mix one tablespoon of tomato juice and Yoghurt. Use the pack on your tanned skin. Keep it for 25-30 minutes. After that wash face with cold water. The citric acid present in tomato removes dark spots and Yoghurt moisture the skin.



Orange juice &Yoghurt:

Mix one tablespoon of Orange juice and Yoghurt. Use the pack on your tanned skin. Keep it for 25-30 minutes and wash it with cold water. The citric acid present in Orange removes the dark spot and Yoghurt moisture the skin.



Flour, rice & Multani powder:

Mix one tablespoon of flour, then grind the rice and add with it. Then add some Multani powder with 4-6 tablespoon of milk. Try to add more or less milk until the mixture gets thick. Apply it on tanned areas and keep it for 30 minutes. After that wash it with cold water and rub it smoothly with the cloth. We can use aloe Vera gel after using this.



Cucumber extract:

Cucumber is very effective for sun tanned skin. It has a cooling effect and helps remove tan. So, squeeze to get the juice out. Use some cotton and apply the juice over tanned areas. Let it dry for a couple of minutes and wash it with cold water.



Honey and Papaya:

This mixture can remove dark spots from your skin and acts as an antiaging mixture. Take 5-7 pieces of ripe papaya and add 1 tablespoon of honey to it and smash it using a spoon. Mix until it thickens. Apply the paste on the tanned areas and let it dry. After 30 minutes wash with cold water.



So these are the remedies, to get rid of tan from our body parts. We’ll find many of these ingredients in our kitchens. Otherwise, these are easily available at the market. We can buy it also. So this is the time to say “NO” to tan.
